Spirit Guardian

The Spirit Guardian watches over his tribe, protecting them from evil spirits and storms.

I wanted to update The Spirit Guardian for a while now, mainly to desaturate the colours. But one edit lead to another and I ended up revamping him completely. 4 years difference, what do you think? 🙂
This initially started as an anatomy study, but after watching Apocalypto and Atlantis again...well, voila! I wanted to keep the design fairly simple so I can focus more on the muscles and rendering.
